Emergency Fundraising Campaign
Sinakeithei Village, Manipur, India
Dear Friends, Families, Supporters, and Prayer Partners,
We write to you today with deep sorrow and urgent concern for the people of my village, Sinakeithei, who are currently facing one of the most devastating humanitarian crises in our community’s history.
Since February 23, 2026, Sinakeithei village has endured continuous attacks, violence, displacement, and severe hardship. More than 3,500 residents in over 600 households are struggling daily without reliable access to food, healthcare, transportation, education, and other basic necessities for survival.
The ongoing conflict and insecurity have created unimaginable suffering for innocent civilians, including women, children, and the elderly. Continuous sniper activities and attacks have made it unsafe for villagers to leave their homes even to gather basic vegetables and food. Farmers cannot plant their annual rice fields, families cannot safely travel to nearby towns or markets to buy medicine, and food supplies are rapidly diminishing.
Many homes and villages in the region have been destroyed with bullet holes, forcing families to flee and leaving countless people displaced without shelter or security. Our house in the village is made of brick, so we are sheltering 5 families currently as it’s safer for them. Road blockades and transportation disruptions have further isolated the community, severely affecting the delivery of food, medicine, humanitarian aid, and emergency services.
The healthcare system has also been deeply impacted. Due to blocked roads and limited access, there is now a critical shortage of medicines, medical supplies, and healthcare assistance. Clean water, sanitation, and other essential services have also been disrupted, leaving many families struggling to meet even the most basic daily needs.
This crisis has also placed an enormous financial burden on the villagers. Since most families depend on farming for survival, the ongoing violence and transportation restrictions have completely disrupted their livelihoods, leaving many unable to plant their crops, provide food nor necessities for their families.
🙏 Please pray for the safety of the villagers and for provision for their food and medical supplies.
